Leaves are flying all around!

I love it when Utah actually has more than two seasons (summer & winter). This year we have had such a beautiful fall season. The colors everywhere have been so vibrant. We have seen trees with not only your typical red, yellow & orange leaves but some hot pink leaves. Some trees would have half green and half another color on them it has been nice to watch the seasons change.

Though I am partial to the warmth of the summer sun, I believe fall and winter bring out the inner child in all of us. I have always loved to walk through leaves just to hear them crunch beneath my feet, or jump in a nice pile of leaves and throw them all around. I could rake leaves to jump in them and turn around and do it all over again (as long as it doesn't get to cold)! We had a great time doing just that this afternoon if it is nice tomorrow we will probably do it again!

Be Specific

The funniest thing happened the other day. Micaela had a slight fever for a couple days (not the funny part). I went to give her some children's Tylenol (liquid). I put the little cup up to her lips as I always do, then she promptly dumped it on her head! What do you do if you have an owiie, you put medicine on it right? To her it was medicine for her head! Next time I will be way more specific.

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. Micaela wasn't quite sure what was going on she gave people in the stores the strangest looks because they were dressed funny. Micaela loves to cook so I had found her an apron an hat set just for cooking at home (so I could actually wear my apron) when we got it home and put it on her I decided it was so cute that it was going to be her costume. To dress up her costume we got into the flour and put it on her face, she loved it. We took her "Trick-or-Treating" at the mall she came away with a large haul of goodies!

James and I thought it would be funny if I were to dress up as Billy Ray Cyrus (only because everyone is so Hannah Montana crazy) and to my surprise I actually found a mullet. Even funnier James dressed up as Hannah Montana (yes, he agreed to that)! How much scarier can you get than that? We attended a party and gave our friends some good laughs!
